1 dead after car crash, fire in Colorado Springs

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) - One person has died following a crash on Tuesday evening, according to the Colorado Springs Police Department.
Police said reports of the two-car crash came in around 8:43 p.m. at Dublin Boulevard and Rangewood Drive.
They said one vehicle traveling eastbound lost control and went over the median, crashing into a vehicle traveling westbound.
According to police, one of the vehicles caught fire after they collided.
One person died on scene, and another person was transported to a hospital, police said.
Police said the Major Crash Team is on the way to investigate the incident, and the intersection of Dublin and Rangewood is expected to be closed for several hours.
